What to Expect at This Year's Tysons Mixed Market
We chat with organizers ahead of the September 4 season opener, and they tell us how the market supports small, local businesses in a city known as the home to some of the nation's largest companies
Hey gang, Matt here! We’re back with another feature in our special series where we take you behind the scenes of some of the events happening in our local communities. You may remember our conversation in June with the folks at Chantilly’s nZone Artisan Market, and our chat with the team at Taste of Vienna in April.
If you enjoyed our popular Farmers Market Guide this spring, then our latest Q&A is right up your alley.
Today, we continue that series as we chit-chat with the team behind the Tysons Mixed Market. It’s a unique market, which brings together nearly 30 local vendors and artisans, small businesses, and more community-focused features all tucked in the middle of Fairfax County’s economic powerhouse that is Tysons. The market is hosted together by The Boro Tysons and the Tysons Community Alliance.
We recently spoke with Caroline Turner, Marketing Manager at The Boro, who pulled back the curtain to reveal a little more about what we can expect at this year’s market ahead of their season opening event on September 4.
Let’s go Out & About in Tysons!
Cheers,
Matt
