One of the top goals of Out & About Fairfax is help our neighbors engage with our local communities across Fairfax County. To shop locally, attend local events, and to help you go — shall we say it? — Out & About, whether that’s in your local community or perhaps to explore a city in the area where you’ve never visited.

That’s why this week, we’ve pulled together our comprehensive list of farmers markets across Fairfax County. From Reston to Fairfax, Falls Church to Alexandria, and everywhere in between, our “2025 Out & About Fairfax Farmers Market Guide” will help you find the freshest produce, tastiest treats, and locally made items around.

Below, you will find market offerings, specialty items for sale at each market, closing dates for the season, and more.

Fairfax/Oakton/Annandale

  • Annandale Farmers Market

    • Where: 6621 Columbia Pike, Annandale

    • When: Thursdays, May 1-October 30, 2025, 8:00a.m.-Noon

    • Number of Vendors: 10+

    • What You Can Find: This weekly market in the Mason District Park area hosts vendors who sell a mix of fresh produce, plants, and herbs, along with unique coffee selections, other beverages, and prepared foods. Specialty items include French, Ecuadorian, and Lebanese cuisines. Includes live entertainment. SNAP accepted.

  • Fairfax City Farmers Market

    • Where: 10500 Page Ave., Fairfax

    • When: Saturdays, May 10-October 25, 2025, 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m.

    • Number of Vendors: 40+

    • What You Can Find: This weekly market in Fairfax City hosts vendors who sell a mix of fresh produce, baked goods, coffee and other beverages, eggs, cheese and dairy, and other products. Plus, household and pet items like candles and dog treats. Plus, seasonal vendors throughout the year. Specialty items include lobster and seafood, Venezuelan, Mediterranean, French, Turkish, Ghanan, and other cuisines.

  • Mosaic FreshFarm Market

    • Where: 2920 District Ave., Fairfax

    • When: Sundays Year-Round, 9:00a.m.-2:00p.m.

    • Number of Vendors: 55+

    • What You Can Find: This year-round market in the Mosaic District is one of the largest in the area. It hosts vendors who sell a mix of fresh produce, baked goods, nuts, fresh salmon and other fish, eggs, prepared and hot items, a variety of beverages including coffee, lemonade, and more. Specialty items include Latin American, Chinese, Afghan cuisines, and more. SNAP accepted.

  • Oakmont Farmers Market

    • Where: 3200 Jermantown Rd., Oakton

    • When: Wednesdays, May 7-October 29, 2025, 8:00a.m.-Noon

    • Number of Vendors: 10+

    • What You Can Find: This weekly market at the Oakmont Rec Center hosts vendors who sell a mix of produce, meat, dairy, eggs, beverages, baked good, prepared items, and more. Specialty items include French, Egyptian, and Ecuadorian cuisine. Includes live entertainment.

  • Oakton FreshFarm Market

    • Where: 2951 Chain Bridge Rd., Oakton

    • When: Saturdays Year-Round, 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m.

    • Number of Vendors: 10+

    • What Can You Find: This year-round market at Oakton United Methodist Church hosts a dozen vendors who sell a mix of fresh produce, nuts, fresh salmon and other fish, baked goods, coffee, honey, meats, cheeses, dairy, eggs, and more. SNAP accepted.

  • Wakefield Farmers Market

    • Where: 8100 Braddock Rd., Annandale

    • When: Wednesdays, May 7-October 29, 2025, 2:00p.m.-6:00p.m.

    • Number of Vendors: 10+

    • What You Can Find: This weekly market at the Audrey Moore Rec Center hosts vendors who sell a mix of fresh produce, dairy, meats, prepared and hot foods, honey, beverages including coffee and tea, and much more. Specialty items include fresh-made crepes, Mexican, and more. Includes live entertainment. SNAP accepted.

Falls Church/Vienna/McLean

  • Falls Church City Farmers Market

    • Where: 300 Park Ave., Falls Church

    • When: Saturdays Year-Round, April-December from 8:00a.m.-Noon, January-March from 9:00a.m.-Noon

    • Number of Vendors: 50+

    • What You Can Find: This weekly farmers market in downtown Falls Church is one of the largest in the area. It hosts vendors who sell a variety of fresh produce, baked goods, dairy products, flowers, plants and herbs, fresh salmon and other fish, and much more. Plus, a bunch of other unique products, including craft hot sauces, dog treats, kombucha, and more. Specialty cuisine includes pho, Turkish pastries, Chinese dumplings, and more. SNAP accepted.

  • McLean Farmers Market

    • Where: 1659 Chain Bridge Rd., McLean

    • When: Fridays, May 2-October 31, 2025 (closed for McLean Day event on Friday, May 16), 8:00a.m.-Noon

    • Number of Vendors: 10+

    • What You Can Find: This weekly market in the Lewinsville Park area hosts vendors who sell a variety of baked goods, honey, produce, plants and herbs, beverages, nuts, eggs, and more. Local vendors are from Fairfax County, Loudoun County, and other areas of Virginia. Includes live entertainment.

  • Vienna Farmers Market

    • Where: 120 Cherry St. SE, Vienna

    • When: Saturdays, May 3-October 25, 2025, 8:00a.m.-Noon

    • Number of Vendors: 25+

    • What You Can Find: Led by the Optimists Club of Greater Vienna, this farmers market is held at the Vienna Community Center and hosts vendors who sell a mix of fresh produce, dairy, plants and herbs, and other farm fresh items, nuts, baked goods, along with prepared foods. Specialty items include made-to-order donuts, along with Korean and Lebanese cuisine. Organizers note this is a local producer-only market, not a craft market. Includes live entertainment.

Alexandria/Mount Vernon/Lorton

  • Kingstowne Farmers Market

    • Where: 5844-5862 Kingstowne Center, Alexandria

    • When: Fridays, May 2-October 24, 2025, 3:00p.m.-7:00p.m.

    • What You Can Find: This weekly market hosts vendors who sell everything from fresh produce, eggs, plants and herbs, beverages, baked goods — including specialty Filipino donuts. Specialty items include, Ghanan, Mediterranean, Ecuadorian, and Asian cuisine. Includes live entertainment.

  • Lorton Farmers Market

    • When: Sundays, May 4-November 23, 2025, 8:00a.m.-Noon

  • McCutcheon/Mount Vernon Farmers Market

    • When: Wednesdays, April 16-November 26, 2025 8:00a.m.-Noon

    • Number of Vendors: 20+

    • What You Can Find: This weekly market hosts vendors who sell meats, baked goods, honey, beverages, produce, flowers, plus specialty items including ice cream, pho, Lebanese cuisine, and much more. Includes live entertainment.

Reston/Herndon/Great Falls/Chantilly

  • Great Falls Farmers Market

    • Where: 778 Walker Rd., Great Falls

    • When: Saturdays Year-Round, 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m.

    • Number of Vendors: 15+

    • What You Can Find: This weekly, year-round farmers market hosts vendors who sell everything from fresh produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, fresh salmon and other fish, coffee and other beverages, along with vendors selling household items such as candles and beauty and health products. Specialty items and foods include Greek and international cuisine options.

  • Herndon Farmers Market

    • Where: 765 Lynn St., Herndon

    • When: Thursdays, May 1-October 30, 2025, 8:00a.m.-Noon

    • Number of Vendors: 15+

    • What You Can Find: This weekly market located in downtown Herndon just off the W&OD Trail hosts vendors who sell everything from fresh produce, meat, eggs, dairy, prepared and hot food items, baked goods — including from two local Fairfax County bakeries — honey, and much more. Specialty items include micro-roasted coffee, Peruvian cuisines, and more. Includes live entertainment.

  • nZone Farmers Market (Chantilly)

    • Where: 14550 Lee Rd., Chantilly

    • When: First and third Saturdays from June 7-August 23, 2025 from 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m.

    • Number of Vendors: TBD

    • What You Can Find: This new(ish) market returns to Chantilly this summer with vendors expected to sell everything from fresh produce, artisan chocolates, homemade goods such as crochet items, and more are expected as organizers finalize their vendor list for this summer.

  • Reston Farmers Market

    • Where: 1609 Washington Plaza, N., Reston

    • When: Saturdays, April 26-November 22, 2025, 8:00a.m.-Noon

    • Number of Vendors: 25+

    • What You Can Find: This weekly market located in the Lake Anne Plaza Shopping Center hosts vendors who sell everything from fresh produce, meat, eggs, dairy, nuts, plants and herbs, prepared and hot foods, and much more. Specialty items include Filipino donuts, along with pho options, and Korean, New Zealand, and Austrian cuisines. Includes live entertainment. SNAP accepted.

  • Reston FreshFarm Market

    • Where: 11900 Lawyers Rd., Reston

    • When: Wednesdays Year-Round, 3:00p.m.-7:00p.m.

    • Number of Vendors: 25+

    • What You Can Find: This year-round market located at St. John Neumann Church hosts vendors who sell everything from fresh produce, baked goods, fresh salmon and other fish, nuts, prepared and hot foods, flowers, plants and herbs, coffee, tea, and other beverages, and much more. Specialty items include fresh pastas, along with Turkish, Mexican, and French cuisine. SNAP accepted.

Burke/Clifton

  • Burke Farmers Market

    • Where: 5671 Roberts Parkway, Burke

    • When: Saturday, April 19-November 22, 2025, 8:00a.m.-Noon

    • Number of Vendors: 40+

    • What You Can Find: One of the largest farmers markets in Fairfax County, this weekly market features vendors who sell nearly everything you're looking for, including meats, baked goods, honey, beverages, produce, flowers, eggs, prepared foods, hot and cold items, and much more. Specialty vendors include Pakistani, Lebanese, Mediterranean, and New Zealand-style cuisines. Includes live entertainment.

  • Clifton Farmers Market

    • Where: 12644 Chapel Rd., Clifton

    • When: Sundays, April 27-November 2, 2025, 8:00a.m.-1:00p.m.

    • Number of Vendors: 15+

    • What You Can Find: This weekly market hosts vendors who sell nearly everything from fresh produce, mushrooms and microgreens, meats, honey, baked goods, coffee and other beverages, chocolate, household items such as soaps, and much more.

Fairfax County Fun Fact of the Week

Did you know: Farmers and producers who sell their goods at one of the Fairfax County Park Authority’s ten farmers markets all come from within a 125-radius of the county, minus a few exceptions for those hard-to-find items.
