Fairfax County Fun Fact of the Week
Did you know: “Wiehle Avenue” in Reston is named after Dr. Carl Adolph Max Wiehle, a physician who purchased 3,200+ acres of land in the area in the 1880s. In 1898, he developed the Town of Wiehle. The town would later fail and ultimately became part of modern-day Reston.

The Fairfax County Master Gardeners are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year! Nearly 230 members volunteer 20,000 hours of service to local community environmental and outdoor projects each year.
