Winter is almost over (trust), and FXA Adult Sports is gearing up for our Spring 2026 Season!

    • Visitors are welcome to enjoy free admission to George Washington’s Mount Vernon on Monday, Feb. 16. Experience all of the estate’s favorites, plus Valentine’s-themed events throughout the weekend.

    • Watch and learn how sap is made into syrup (and even sample some of the sweet product) during this fun outdoor demonstration at Colvin Run Mill on Sunday, Feb. 15. Three sessions available. Cost: $8/person.

    • One of the largest events at the now-closed Dulles Expo Center, the festival’s organizers announced this week they will be hosting separate Maryland and Virginia-based festivals this year. The Virginia festival is scheduled for Nov. 14-15 at the Dulles Town Center Expo Center in Sterling.

    • The food hall based in Rockville, Md., which offers a variety of Asian cuisine, opened their new Annandale food hall last weekend.

    • Enjoy your glass of wine at the Winery at Bull Run while you browse and shop a range of handmade goods from local artisans on Sunday, Feb. 15 from 12:00p.m.-5:00p.m. Tickets: $15/person.

A group of Buddhist Monks passed through Northern Virginia this week on their way to D.C. with a message of peace. Their 120-day, 2,300-mile journey started in Fort Worth, TX in October and traveled through Alexandria on Monday.
