Fairfax County Fun Fact of the Week

Did you know: No clownin’ around here! Bailey’s Crossroads is named after Hachaliah Lyman Bailey, who founded one of America’s earliest circuses (known today as Barnum & Bailey Circus). He resided in modern day Bailey’s Crossroads in the 1830s.

Before We Go, Some Good News…

Last week, we featured the local nonprofit Kids Give Back as they hosted their annual Costumes for Kids Fall Festival. Volunteers recently came together in Fairfax to make more than 100 Halloween and fall-themed costumes for children in our communities. Check out their creative work on Instagram!
