Now in its eighth year, Kids Give Back’s Summer Volunteer Camp is here — register by April 30 and save! Children ages 6–12 will spend the week participating in fun, meaningful volunteer projects that strengthen our community.

Creating gifts for hospitalized children

Fairfax County Fun Fact of the Week
Did you know: For many years, turkeys that were pardoned during the National Thanksgiving Turkey Presentation (the annual ceremony at the White House) were sent to live at Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon. Other turkeys have resided at George Washington’s Mount Vernon following their pardon.

Four Fairfax County Public Schools students earned awards in the National YoungArts Foundation Competition! What’s more impressive — there were 13,000 entries nationwide.
