What is Out & About Fairfax?

  • Out & About Fairfax is a free weekly email newsletter designed to engage Fairfax County’s 1.1 million+ residents with events happening in the area. Our mission is to help residents go “Out & About” to enjoy all Fairfax County has to offer — from fun local events, festivals, and markets to live entertainment, and much more. Plus, we work to connect our neighbors with local businesses along the way. We formally launched in December 2024 and have been growing quickly in 2025!

What is included in the newsletter? When will I receive it?

  • You will receive the newsletter directly to your inbox every Thursday morning! Inside, you will find events for the upcoming weekend across Fairfax County, everything from things to do to food-and-drink-related events, fun for families and kids, live music and entertainment, and a whole lot more.
