MCLEAN, Va. — Northern Virginia foodies have a new restaurant week on the horizon.

The first-ever McLean Restaurant Week will run April 12-19, 2026 at nearly 30 participating restaurants throughout the community. Throughout the week, restaurants will offer a variety of limited time prix fixe menus, bundled meal deals, and other exciting promotions, according to organizers at the McLean Revitalization Corporation.

“A lot of people, even people that have lived in McLean a long time, don’t realize that just our little downtown area has 53 different restaurants,” said Peter Appel, Executive Vice President of the McLean Revitalization Corporation (MRC). “Most people driving through downtown don’t realize the breadth of the offerings we have. Those offerings range from a lot of different types.”

Participating restaurants include McLean staples, such as Rocco’s Italian, Kazan Restaurant, and Sweet Leaf Cafe. But the Restaurant Week also aims to highlight some of the area’s newest restaurants, including Neutral Ground Bar + Kitchen, plus a variety of expansive cultural options, such as local Thai, Chinese, and Indian cuisine.

The area’s newest restaurant week is an effort spearheaded by Appel and the MRC, a volunteer-led nonprofit organization. The goal: to drive more business downtown, support local restaurants and eateries, and to showcase McLean’s growing evolving restaurant scene.

“Our organization has been around for quite a while,” Appel said. “But in the last couple of years, we’re really stepping up our efforts to help make downtown McLean more of a destination, not only for the folks that live in McLean who are looking for good places to go out, but people in the surrounding area that may not know much about it.
